The Corvette is 20 years old, has 300 parts & is oozing detail. And is according to the seller of Tamiya quality.
The Trans Am is just as old and contains 350 parts.

I have seen photos of the Vette model and the shape just doesn't look right. I have and built the Trans Am, it is actually a '72 according to the grille and it too is off on the body proportions, but they are the only models of those cars in 1/12. They certainly do not measure up to the detail and accuracy of Tamiya or Revell-Monogram.. - Mark

I can still get these new from my distributor along with around 5 other 1/12 Doyousha kits so they are not by any means rare but the price on them is okay.
