Here in the states, Volkwagon is testing a program that gives buyers of selected models a year long free of auto insurance. This is (hopefully) to attract more buyers. Pretty cool if you ask me considering the cost of insurance in some places). Now Volvo will also do a contest of sending someone into space and Ford will give new Focus buyers a brand new Dell PC. Looks like alot of makers are doing this.

So my question is this, what would you like to see your favorite automaker (assuming you have one) give away to attract new owners.

Fire away folks.

lifetime supply of clutches + labor. Just drive/tow it in and have a new clutch in 5 hours or less. Regardless of how the customer beats on it.

on second thought the insurance thing is pretty cool.

Most American manufacturers would do well to add a free set of turn signals to their vehicles.....

Most American manufacturers would do well to add a free set of turn signals to their vehicles..... I take it the drivers don't use them down your way. I know the feeling.

I like the free gas for one year, but being that it is not a set price, I doubt they will ever do that. The free insurance seems better.

Lifetime warranty *Imagines and smiles*.

Though that's unrealistic. I always like it when manufacturers take a car chuck in a ton of extras and sell it for less than the cost of a standard one. Volkswagen and Mitsubishi have both done this over here.

Or there was also a Peugeot promotion where you buy a 206 GTi and get a choice of an exhaust, sports suspension, rims, a spoiler or a few other things for free.

I vote for the free gas and/or insurance. Insurance would be nicer seeing as how it's not too hard to scrape together $5, but $500 can be difficult

I think there is few things better than free insurance, especially since I pay out of my ass for my car.

Free satnav on all cars.
Ah much like they had with the old Toyota Avensis. Though I think Toyota forgot that to actually make the Avensis appealing, they actually had to make the car look like something other than a wheeled bread-bin....

I'd certainly be inclined to agree, rather chunky and muscular actually. Though it sort of looks dull ever since Honda released the stunning looking Accord.

Naki out[putting his flamesuit on]Oh no you didn't.
Actually I did not know the other H (Hyundai, first H = Honda) was giving rebates that high. At least not here where I'm at. I wish they did though.
