noise

when i turn on my truck it runs fine, but when i am going down the road i hear this noise like it is my belt tensioner, or that is what i thought but some people say that it is because i use cheap gasoline. It sounds like something is ticking in the engine and it rattles a little bit does anybody heard of this or any advice on this subject?

Engine ping maybe? Or more like lifter noise?

Sometimes when a catalytic converter breaks up inside, it rattles like a spray can.
