Your car is a low 15s high 14s car at best...I'm not sure about the GTP..

I think it would be a good race. I dont know the GTPs numbers either but it cant be too much faster then high 14s

Race him and find out  I'll race anyone, it wouldn't be any fun if I always knew I was gonna win. If you lose, then you have a goal to shoot for.

just race and find out, should be a good one.

i dont know... those GTP's can be pretty quick ("jeff's gtp sleeper" anyone?)

I would say its a close race.

Boost controller and gauge all the way, and then just race.

a GTP will run low 15s. A GTP with minor mods will run mid to low 14s'. I saw a guy at the track running high 13's with only a pulley change.

Apparently those GTPs are pretty quick.

yeah...all it takes for those GTPs are a pully swap and some other minor BPUs, and they can MOVE!

ummm i'm gunna go with he'll toast you only because teh eclispe turbos with manuals can kick ass, the automatics are not kick ass by any means and i believe are 16 second cars so no, you will most likely not win

you will be suprized how much a intake will help you car, i say get a cone filter, mbc and boost gauge, up the boost to 13psi, and launch the car ands you will smoke him, if not just launch the car, turbo auto launchs are the best, i rember i used to launch w/ 11psi off the line its the best, just hold the breaks and gass to around 2500 and let the boost build, helps if you have a boost gauge, the when you decide to go let off the breaks and slowly get on the gass, this will help with wheel spin, i say pratice and launch and it should be a good outcome..

i say before the race make a pep boy/home depot run, rig up a mbc and a cone filter, and youll be good to go..

if he's stock should be a good race, the gtp is in the 14's stock, but very cheap and easy to mod...

well as much as I don't wanna say it, the gtp should take you. They run high 14's in the automatic form. Gst's run low 15's high 14's in manual form. probably 16's in an auto. Good luck though.
