I'm thinking of buying this 91 4door EX auto so that I can drop a DOHC ZC in it. Now will the auto tranny and ecu work with the ZC?

the tranny will but you'll need either an ZC, 90-93 teg, 88-89 teg ECU.... all autos...

90-91 EX ecu will run the engine, no probs.

no it won't, he's going with the DOHC ZC, it would be better to go with the one's i mentioned. You are right that it will work though....

The EX will run it but, you might have idle issues. The other ECU's will run it smoother and stronger.

Tranny will work, but trust me, source out an auto ZC ECU.
I had an auto ZC setup before and the tranny didn't hold up for a year.
