Im having a good bit of trouble from my throttle on my zc dohc, it simply wont rev down by itself, ive adjusted cable, messed with the spring, cleaned the butterfly, but it wont close all the way unless you push the throttle closed. anybody had any of these problems or if its just bad, do you know what usdm motors have the same throttlebody?

you can use any 88-91 throttle body they are all the same. but try taking a hammer and bending the tab that the throttle stop hits, bend it so that the car idles down when you start bending it youll know what i mean bend it towards the drivers side or the pass side (i dont remember which) and that might do the trick.

is it just a sticky cable? dont replace the tb till you check that cable cuz it will still do it if thats the cause.

yeah he said, he the cable sticky? unhook it from the TB and push it in and out with your hand, you'll be able to tell if its sticking. theres also a spring on the throttle pedal, check that out too.

thanks for the tips hadnt thought about pushing the cable itself, or the pedal spring, but all throttles are not the same, some have different size inlets i know i have another one same bolt pattern, different intake size.
