Best Spark Plugs and Wires for GS-R?

I am planning to buy some new spark plugs and wires to replace my old stock ones for my '94 GS-R. Probably aftermarket ones! Are there any that provide the most horsepower in the market? Or do they just perform the same? I am just looking for power right now for spark plugs and the wires. Any good brands to look at? Thanks!

NGK plugs seem to be the best on hondas, stay away from Bosch Platinum +4s. I made the mistake on puttin these on and experienced hesitation in acceleration. Alot of people experience problems with Bosch +4s.

depends on what you want......
is your engine n/a, forced induction or NOS.......
aftermarket wires are good, but just remember they're not made to last 100,000 miles or whatever. if you look at race cars and dragsters all that stuff is replaced constantly cause they have the loot to do that. ive also read that aftermarket wires do tend to break down after a while resulting in loss of performance. plus if your upgrading you electrical system your going to have to replace more that just the wires, distributor, plugs, etc.....and with that bigger spark your gonna need more fuel for combustion so now you looking at an upgrade in fuel injectors, fuel pump regulator, etc......so if your building you a dragster or a baddass street car, get some aftermarket gear, but for you stock engine and some bolt-ons OEM is sufficient.

I only use NGK plugs in Hondas - they just don't seem to like anything else. I had to replace my HT leads and went with a set of 7mm Eagle Eliminators.

I don't know about getting more HP from plugs and leads - it sounds like a pipe dream to me but I do know my engine is running a lot cleaner than it did due to the leads being stuffed.

NGK!

You could also go for some Iridiums...

the +4s i have in my crx work just great, i havent had any problems with them, and when i installed em, i noticed a big difference in acceleration.

Well I am not really going all out on my car. The i/h/e is probably the only performance mods I will ever do on my GS-R.

Btw, are Magnecore wires any good? How about Denso Iridium Soarks Plugs?

The stock NGK platinums & the stock wires will work just great, there's no real power to be gained by using anything else. But if you really want to upgrade for some reason, I would definitely suggest the Magnecor wires and/or the Denso Iridium Plugs. As far as I'm concerned, they're top of the line. (Make sure to adjust the gap though!)

They have the NGK iridium spark plugs. I saw them at pep boys for like 10.35 each. Its expensive but i'm sure they're worth it. Get some Nology wires also...that should be like around 80 bucks.

Well, I have the bosch platinum +4s and my GS-R definitely bogs down. It could be something else but reading yall's posts that might be my problem. I'll look into switching to some NGK's. Thanks
