2000 Galant Keyless Entry Reprogramming Problem!

Hi everybody,
I lost the original RKE(Remote Keyless Entry).
I bought a new one but I have no idea how can I reprogramming my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant car?

easiest way is to take it to mitsubishi, they can do it

You mean there is no way except taking car to Mishubishi dealer :)
I thought that it must be programming instructions somewhere on internet. anychance if someone see the reprogramming instructions plc let me know what is the link for that RKE instructions for 2000 GALANT

not that i know of, i know that they have to program it to your specific VIN.

i work for the mitsu dealer and we have to use our computer to program it...too bad you dont live close or i could hook ya up!

Reprogramming is possible, there is a recent thread with instructions on how to do it. Plus, u can purchase it on ebay. Mitsubishi dealers just trying to make the dough

Not sure which pins you have to jump but the way they are programmed is as follows.
Sit in the driver's seat, doors shut.
Key in the ignition, just in the ignition not turned to run or anything.
Plug in the scantool (MUTIII is the mitsubishi scantool, not sure if another will work) and leave it alone, you dont have to do anything.
Push the hazard switch 6 times, it should end in the hazards off position. The doors should lock/unlock one time.
Push the lock or unlock button on your transmitter once wait a second then push it two more times.
If the programming is successful after you push the button the second time the doors should lock/unlock once. If it is unsuccessful, nothing will happen.
