pedals...

I wanted to change my pedals, I was wondering what pedals will work or will all of them work. Thanks! :)

yeh, pedals are a lot of fun. I am using Levoc pedals I got from the Autofreak in LittleTokyo (LA). I also force fitted the rest pedal as well by pulling off the kickpanel, folding over the carpeting and bolted on some short screws and nut. I put some soft cousions on the nut so that it doesn't scrape the metal under the stock rest pedal pad thingie.

most people just do the accelerator, brake, and clutch if MT. if I can find a narrower restpedal, it'll look even better. I need to trim off about 1/2inch off the Levoc one to make it align with the stock rest pedal padding.

oh yah, btw, I did put back the kickpanel after installing the rest pedal. :D

thanks kenchan... will any set of pedals work for the g20?? I'm thinking of just doing the accelerator, break, and clutch... thx again..

I was wondering how do you remove the stock g20 pedals? I have a 2000, and I just went outside to check, and I felt behind the clutch pedal and there was no screw, just a rubber cover over the pedal. thanks...

hi dude, yah, I was talking pedal covers, the aluminum covers you put over the stock pedals. they're mostly for just cosmetics, but for MT, better heel/toe.

try napolex.com as they are the distributor for Levoc pedals in the US. they are located in Torrance, CA. man, my old home town. hehe. :D you need to get the ones for your car. you can trial & error with the lower cost ones that a lot of shops sell, but probably best to go with Levoc or Razo, Momo, etc. from Levoc, don't get the rest pedal unless you really want to put it on and modify it a little. they don't fit the US P11's without mod.

I also have the levoc pedals on my 94G20 AT.....and ppl say they look nice...so I would recommend it for ur G too...plus theyre cheaper than most and not cheap looking in my opinion :)

I just got Pilot Performance racing pedals for my car. They installed right over the rubber stock pedals. I was kinda confused about installation becuase in the back, most of the instructions were markered over. But I installed it the other day. I had a problem with something though. There was a metal thing that was suppose to go around the back of the accel pedal and screw to a metal plating, but the holes in the metal thing were wierd, and the screws didnt go in. SO what i did was tape the metal plate right to the pedal...:D, and then the pedal went over the plate. Hey it worked. The brake pedal was pretty easy to isntall too.

yah, it's best if you use both the supplied double stick tape and the mounting brackets. on the accelerator, I drilled 2 holes through the stock pedals and using nylon backed lock nuts with machine screws. this holds the pedal probably the strongest.

Ya that will hold it good, but mine isnt falling off anytime soon, its in there pretty good... hehehe..me and my tape work.
