THe voltage on mt DIC reads as high as 15.7. The norm is 15.4. Is this normal for auroras? Do I have anyhing to worry about?

My 1998 Aurora reads the same. From all I have read, this is the norm for the Aurora. It's a "High Energy Car!"

mine also reads in the 15 range in the winter when the heater fan, seat heaters, rear window defroster, wipers and headlites seem to be on more often.

From what I have been led to understand the voltage you read at the DIC is the volts being accepted by the battery.
The battery has a thermistor (temp sensor) and will allow more volts input when it is cold, regardless of what accessories are running.
In temps of around 0 DegF and lower, a voltage of 15.7 is acceptable but as the battery warms up the input drops.
In summer 15.4 volts seems the norm.

yeah when it gets to zero degrees or below my voltage can get to 15.5 sometimes. Then in warm weather it usually hovers more closer to 15.

Thought I had some kind of regulator problem. Im glad i read this post.
