Power Mirrors only move right

Anyone know why my power mirrors would only move to the right? I've take the switch out and cleaned the terminals and even got a different one at the junk yard, but it still only moves right. It doesn't matter which mirror either still only moves right.

probably a broken wire leading from the drivers door to the car. Common problem, especially on high mileage cars.

but would a power mirror have multiple hots leading to it?

yes. one or each direction of movement.
