Alright guys, I have a B16A2 in my 99 civic si and I recently got a brand new complete ITR head. Before i install it, I wanted to lower my compression a little bit because im throwing on a Nx wet kit and using the small 35 shot. My question is, what head gasket could i get to lower my compression?? Also, my b16a2 internals have about 90,000 miles on them, the 35 shot should be safe right?
Does anybody have any feedback on the performance parts from www.dh-racing.com?

the b16a2 compression is already low, around 10.2. but if you want to go lower, SCE makes .043"-.062" head gaskets that would bring compression into the 9's, but they require machining. cometic has some .030" thatll work without machining.
35-shot is safe. theres a guy on the hondaswap forums running a 55-shot on his stock b16a(his name is CarAudiophile, hes part of the 1320video crew, check their videos out at www.1320videos.com ).

You should have went with a GSR or ITR block would have made more power.
35 shot is totally safe. Becareful nitrous is addictive and you will want to bump up the shot more and more after you get used to the original shot.
