What is involved in rebuilding my v6 engine? straight forward answer please.

First you have to do a complete dismantling of it and then you have to have the block machines(hot tanked, rebored, ne plugs). You should buy the rebuild kit. The just put her back together. I recommend buying any type of service manual. Your not going to want to attempt this being a novice with no help.

what's this in? third gen its easier to get the motor out. fourth gen you gotta drop the engine out from below...

It would probably be much cheaper and easier to just buy a used engine from a junkyard and just swap it in. Why do you want to rebuild the engine is it hatched?

For one when mine goes I'm probably doing a little of a performance rebuild, why not upgrade while ur in there
