Really weird engine stuff.

Whenever I drive my 93 probe se auto and I have already been driving and I park, the next time I start the engine up and drive the car the engine bounces revs between idle and 2500 when I hit 2500. When I floor the gas a few times it goes back to normal. What could this be? My torque converter, my throttle linkage? Any ideas?
