Anyone ever order one off e bay? If so..tell me about it. They are cheap and I'm wondering how it worked out.

i ordered a drift kit for my 94 talon and the kit was ok.just like with any body kit, its not going to come ready to put on your car out of the box, unless you have a newer car and you get a polyurethane kit. but there is still some prep work required on that too. you are going to have to sand the whole kit down unless you want a ugly looking kit(like everyone who dosent check into it before the actually start!). then you are going to have to fill all the voids (holes) with some bondo like filling, then sand it all back down and go around the edges again to make it straight.and you are going to have to fit it to your car (which is the most time taking part) which consist of drilling the wholes so you can mount it and making places for rivits (which i strongly suggest instead of screws.) but to answer your question, yes i have ordered a kit from ebay and it looks awesome. the kit only looks as good as the amount of time and care you put into the prep work.good luck!

I ordered one too.. The back BMX style bumper was great from my Blitz style front was shit, I had to thicken the edges because it was so thin, and I needed to extend the area by the headlights so you couldn't see a gap. But all in all im happy with the $600 i saved by not getting the Wings West kit :)

i ordered the polyurethane blitz off of ebay for my first bodykit and it fit alright. There was a little gap under the headlights and it sticks out a little bit beyond the tires, but you can't tell unless i pointed it out to you. All in all, if you don't care which kit you're getting, I would go with the Wings West one because they fit WAY better. I bought the avenger front for a ford focus zx3 from Wings West and it literally fit perfect.

i would never buy a kit off ebay, you never know what quality you are going to get. It may cost more money in preperation and fitment than it would save you from buying a better quality kit.
i'm going with an authentic Bomex 2 kit, shipped for $750. OEM fit with predrilled holes. you could get a kit off eaby for $350 + 200 shipping = $650. i mean come on!

i really wish i could get the full break down on buying bodykits on ebay. it seems like it could go both ways. FOR THE FINAL TIME AND ON THE RECORD FOREVER, IS IT O.K. TO BUY MY BODY KITS ON EBAY, remember i only make $7.50 an hour, i really have a tight budget. I NEED EVERYONE TO GET DOWN ON THIS QUESTION. BUT ONLY THOSE WHO KNOW FOR SURE.
