my older sister just got a 1.8 liter 05 sentra, i drove it today and damn its fun to drive.... ive got a 1990 300zx and this car makes you want to push it more than the Z does ... she sold a 02 grand am she had ... i was wondering if anybody had the 1/4 time for the 05 1.8, this car is really really fun to drive... the automatic shifter feels a little too far down but i guess im just use to my low Z ... damn that sentra is riding high...
did the 1.8 just start coming standard with spoiler in 05 ?

In 05, Nissan came out with the special edition 1.8's. That is why it came with the spoiler. As for the 1/4 mile time, i have no idea.

While the 1.8 may be fun to play around with, if you want to see stock quickness, you should hop in my 03 2.5 6 Speed Manual Spec V :). I'm really impressed with it's speed off the assembly line. Dunno what the 1.8's do, but the Spec V's do anywhere from around a 5.1- 5.8, so you have to figure 6 speed manual 2.5lr runs(lets say) about a mid 15, i'd say that a 1.8 auto is in the high 16's/low to mid 17's. However, not to say that it isn't fun... just dunno if I would call it fast, yet. I don't even call my spec fast, not until I get some mods...

Btw: if you aren't familiar with sentras... The spec v is the sentra... it's actually the "SeR Spec V"... it's geared more towards racing and style. A good example would be the SVT focus compared to the regular focus or something like that. Just thought I would let you know... I try not to assume people know what i'm talking about.
