i was wondering if there is a big difrence in brands for suspenions. i have some people telling me its better to spend more money on brand. then having some people saying they are all the the same.

All i have on my civic is some lowering springs and the ride is not so good. So want to get the whole shock and strut but i dont know what brand might be best.

i want to know what brand of suspension i should look into for my 95 civic 4dr?
thanks.

If you want to know the downsides to shitty suspension parts just do a search, you'll come up with tons of reasons why not to go cheap on suspension.

As for shocks and struts, adjustable is the way to go IMO. Koni yellows, KYB AGX, Tokico Illuminas are great shocks.

What about Ebaich? is that a respected brand name?

Yes, for springs H&R and Eibach are the best IMO.

you mentioned ride quality if you have a good lowering spring keep them cause coilovers ride will be worse than springs ive heard tein has good settups to there just kinda pricy

That's not true at all. Grab a set of Ground Control coilovers and tell me the ride quality on those coilovers are junk. The springs that GC coilovers come with are pretty soft and do give good ride quality. Skunk2 also has a set of great coilover sleeves, these ride harsher because they use a stiffer spring, more performance oriented than the GCs. The great thing about GC is you can get custom spring rates when you order your coilovers.

Matrix is junk. Look into GC or Skunk2 if you want good coilover sleeves, or H&R or Eibach for just springs. Omni and Tein make great full coilover setups too.

i do have gs coilovers on my car and i do like them and they are great for a coilover system but they are a but stiffer than a lowering spring right i mean if its only a 1.5 drop coilovers arn't necessary and im sure my ride would get better if i had a diffrent strut(tokiko blue) but there is no hop or bouncieness in my ride. I would suggest them to any one who would ask.

what about camber kits, is it true that you dont need a camber kit after 2" drop???

Are you familiar with B+G S2 Lowering Springs(1.5" drop)? Any professional opinions about these? I'm mildly upgrading my suspension and installing a set with my Tokico HP Blue Shocks. Thanks!

its the other way around you will need a camber kit if dropped MORE than two inches and get alinment done right away cause the toe angle change will eat tires faster than negitive camber and get skunk 2 there are simple to instale and ajust(let the wheel shop do the ajusting)

I don't know much about B+G, other than that the few people that I know that have their full coilover kits absolutely love them. If they put the same kind of quality in their lowering springs you should be just fine with them.

That's kinda reassuring. Thanks a lot!
