95 Tercel Bucking?

When I put on the gas, the tercel "bucks" almost to the point of vibrating. The engine light is on as well. Anyone have any ideas what it may be?

you need to retrive the code being a 95 its OBD2 so goto a advance auto autozone and they can scan it more than likely the code will be the faulty part unless it sets a code for o2 sensor then it could be many things from low fuel press. to egr valve or if it has a heated o2 then it could be shorted cousing the problem, get the code then check back here if you need further help, also while your at the parts get a fuel filter no one ever replaces them and it could be your problem as well
