Power Steer/Maybe Heads?

Well i have 2 problems...
1) I have a noise coming form what sounds like steering...havent checked fluid yet but it did have a leak when we first got it...fixed it...we think. If its a slow leak, should i just replace that one hose that wont seal tight?
2)Iunno if its me or not, just worried about my "baby", but when the hood is up and the engine is running. I hear a very very faint tick come from the head...which sounds like it could be just normal movement of the Rocker arms....but could a little bit low oil cause a very faint tick? i havent checked oil level yet either since I just parked it. Anyways more oil would fix that problem if that were the case correct?... Thanks for your guys help

I thought there were no rocker arms in the KA.

I had the same problem..it leaked slowly and then the PS began to leak alot...left a big stain on my school parkings spot...then later it leaked so fast I was refilling the canister about once every 3 to 5 days. I thought it was the hose too. But When I swapped out the KA for the SR..I found that it still leaked...even with two new hoses. I then looked and found out that the big black PS hose that has the gold end on it that bolts into the actual power steering unit had a leak...so I just put some liquid gasket where it leaked and it fixed it. I spent about $75 on power steering fluid alone in about 2 months

yea i didnt mean rocker arms played with them all day in Tech but...the very faint ticking could it be...Cam to Spring noise? or am i jsut high on crack and all engines have that running noise...

all three of the 240's at my house have the tick. I think its just normal wear and tear on the ka. You hear it towards the front of the head...like where the timing chain is right?? And yea the power steering thing is gay, mine leaks so i just said fuck it, i dont have power steering on my hatch. My pump is probably burnt up now since its been like that for 2 years now lol. Ill replace it sooner or later.

It's the tensionner on the timing chain, it's plastic so the chain go through it, it has a metal backing on it so it's not dangerous or anything, it just starts making noise.
