its not the race i'm concerned about that i witnessed a few days ago, its this damn dynasty.

as the two cars took off racing i hear a bov coming from the dynasty :eek7: wtf, those dont come with turbo's do they? who the hell would turbo a dynasty? it just destroyed the other car by about 2-3 lengths in a short time.

polygon, someone explain. because if they never came with a turbo version, someone has one of the best sleepers in town

I know that some of the dodge shadows and daytonas came turboed, not sure if the dynasty did though, I wouldn't think so...

Early Dynasties came with the 2.5L NA I4, so the Turbo II would've dropped right in.

I so wouldn't mind having a turbocharged dodge shadow.

Hehe, it actually isn't a K-car. Actually, the majority of the Turbo Mopars aren't K-cars.

Anyhow, to answer the question, no the Dynasty didn't come turbo-charged from the factory. You could get an N/A 2.5L I4, 3.0L V6, or 3.3L V6. The 2.5L would make an easy conversion to a turbo engine or they might have just done a swap. Either way they have a hell of a sleeper on their hands.

On a side note the Turbo II used a diverter valve not a blow of valve so if it were a Turbo II they would have had to install an aftermarket BOV. Although my DV on my TII has been loud enough at times to tip people off.

That reminds me. One day, while I was driving around, I saw a purple Dynasty with a huge DYNASTY sticker onthe windshield and a GIANT chrysler polygon on the back window that took up the whole thing. It reminded me of those civics with HONDA stickers everywhere. Who would be that proud of a dynasty? Unless, of course, it had a turbo swap :)

Yeah, my LeBaron had some home made stickers at the top of the windshield that said Turbo GTC. Let's just say they were one of the first things to come off.

Chrysler "Polygon"? I thought that was called a "Pentastar"?

That is what Chrysler calls it, but geometrically it is a pentagon which is a type of polygon, so call it what you will.
