hello, I'm 13. i'm young but i know a lot about cars. I can repair cars too. just last week I helped my dad replace the bumper and headlamps on his Escort.

Welcome to AF! Maybe your love of cars and fixing them can lead to a great career in the automotive industry. I have seen reports out by many government agencies that say there will be a tremendous need for trained mechanics in the next 20 years. In the Northeast where I live we have a problem right now in filling jobs for mechanics and there are a lot of employment ads for these.

yeah, but I really want to be a car designer, not a mechanic cause I REALLY love car design.

That's good too. Maybe you can design cars in the future that are easier to work on by DIYers like myself on these forums. LOL, but seriously whatever you want to do, there should be plenty of jobs available to you. It is amazing how much computers now aid designers in their job, making it easier and quicker than in the past.
