92 GP LE Engine cutting out

The engine (3.1) started cutting out a couple of weeks ago when the engine was cold. It cuts out very suddenly. The engine would start again right away. It has steadly gotten worse. Last night going home, it was cutting in and out very rapidly until it cut out completely. It takes longer for it to start again too. It appears to be spark related. Any ideas?

i think that is efi. if so, check your coil packs and/or your electronic spark control module.

if it isnt, you may need a new cap/rotor on your distributor as there might be moister building up or corrosion inside.
