What are some good mods that are not too expensive that i can do to my 99 z71? I have a 40 series flowmaster, but i was thinking about getting duals with headers and glass packs hummmmm, a k&n 77 series intake is next on my list. any other ideas ie: throtle body spacers cams etc. I would like to be able to do the work myself at home if it is not too difficult. Help me out guys.... This is my first truck and I love it!!!!!!

Throttle body spacers don't do anything on your year (99). They are good for trucks 95 and earlier. I would go with the AEM Brute Force for an intake. I saw a test that shows 16+ hp gain (legit test) with the AEM. Although I have Edelbrock headers I would'nt bother with them. The price and time to install is not worth the small gain you get out of them, but they look cool and you'll get a lot of attention. Check out www.ajusa.com They have good deals on the AEM/K&N Intakes and JBA/Edelbrock/Gibson headers.

Intake, long tube headers, big cam :evillol: , higher stall converter, sts turbo, custom tune, Radix supercharger, headwork, nitrous, 6.0L or LS1 swap,
All depends on how much money you want to spend and where you want to go with your truck. Give us some details on what you want to do with the truck mainly and we can go from there. :)
