Probably a bit early, but Im trying to think of something really good for her.

So far Ive got that Im gonna make dinner for her, not sure what yet, then rent some movies and just stay in. But Im gonna do some stuff in the days leading up to vday too. Maybe leave a rose in each of her classes or something.

What do you guys have planned? Or have you even thought about it yet?

one time I made my girlfriend so happy she cried on valentines. (Luckily both my parents were 5,000 miles away)... anyways, I light candles all around my entire house, and I had Kenny G on repeat on the cd player... I even burnt a copy of it so it would be playing in the bedroom too, I turned all the lights off, set the dinner table, set up her gifts with her flowers, card, and balloon, then I put dinner in the oven right when I ran out the door to go pick her up. When we got back to my house she was so happy she started crying. The dinner was perfect, the music was perfect, the candles made it all romantic, and I had gotten her the most beautiful roses on the island, and the biggest softest, cutest bear I could find.... I got laid pretty good that night. Oh yeah, don't forget a bottle of wine. If you aren't 21, start asking people now if they can get you a bottle. 20$ is a decent bottle. If you can spend about 40-50 on a nicer bottle, I think it would be worth it. Make sure that everything is how you want it to be in every room, before she gets there. All the candles in the house, and bedroom, were lit before she got to my house. She always talked about that day and how it was the best valentines ever.

This year though, Im single and I think I'll just do nothing, and remenisce over the last 3 V Days Ive had because they were all awesome.

Yeah I think i'm going to try to cook a meal too. I'm not a good cook so it could be good or bad. She will appreciate the effort I put into it, but she may not appreciate eating burned file minon or however you spell it. I don't drink wine so I'll just go out and get whatever I can find. I wanna get that wine Fat Bastard, but she may not think thats as funny as i do. I already ordered roses online and are having them delivered to her place on V-day then I'm either going to get her some earrings or a watch. Probably a watch cuzz it will be cheaper hehe.

Anyways I think anything that is a surprise would be great. Leave flowers in her car, or on her bed, or have some delivered to her class if you really wanna score big. Cooking a dinner or bringing dinner to someplace thats quiet and remote like a lake or something is probably better than a crowded restaurant I would think.

Thats all I got to say. I really don't like this holiday. When is my day to be spoiled and get what I want? I'd rather do nice things on my own time rather than being forced to on this day every year.

V-Day plans...ummm...sit on my ass and enjoy the fact that while I don't have a woman, Halmark has failed to screw up my life and take more of my money that I don't have.

Well, V-Day in a new town with no interesting people should be nice...Im going to cook myself a nice candlight dinner, probably a hot pocket, then i will crack open a couple bottles of wine (The Michelob kind) Then if everything works out right I might get lucky with rosey palm and her five sisters...

Assuming you mean Valentines Day, we usually don’t celebrate all that much. However, I did find a pretty spiffy looking 18K gold imitation rose (as opposed to the 24K gold dipped roses) that I thought she’d like to have.

im taking her out ice skating first, neither one of us have ever done it, so that should be fun. Afterwards im gonna make dinner, i havent decided what im gonna cook yet, but im a good cook. Candles and champaign with dinner. Then im gonna have the bedroom all lit with candles and rose pedals on the bed. Should be a fun night.

Just a little suggestion for all of you's...how about you don't think about valentines day as THE day to score. I'm not pointing out anyone in perticular but wouldn't you think you'd get nmore if you wanted less?

Was planning on a weekend in Paris, but we've both been too busy to organise anything... so it'll probably end up being a restaurant somewhere... nothing too exciting.

Currently single, so V-day isn't even on my radar.

While we're on the subject of Valentines day, I feel that Cupids arrow is outdated, maybe a high powered rifle would be better.

thats the way to look at it if getting laid by your chick is hard on an everyday basis. If not though, you dont have to worry about getting more by wanting less.

If you have a healthy sex life with your gf, then valentines day is simply, a very special day that you two can enjoy together, while having an excuse to be extra lovey dovey, and have a more romantic day than you can afford to have 365 days out of the year.... not to mention, the wonderful love making that naturally occurs on these types of days....

Raz Kaz, do you have a GF? Cause im not really worried about having sex at all on V day. Trust me when is say, she wants it more than me. Its not like the whole point of V day is to get laid, i can get that anytime i want, the point is to be a little extra intense and put a little extra umph in your relationship. Kinda like a day to help you forget any problems and remember why you care so much about that person and show them how much you care.

Maybe no gift, just...shoot. that's just for the morn when she wakes up. Card!!! gotta make a card. Since i know she can check her email in class ill send an ecard and well...im sure you're tired of reading this so carry on........

Well, I'd like to get her one of the gold dipped roses yogs mentions, but we'll see how much I've got.

Since she's going with me to the chicago autoshow on the 13th, and the 14th we'll be back at school and busy all day, I'll be treating her that saturday, the 12th.

First I'm going to make her breakfast in bed (like the cheesy guy I am), then in the afternoon we'll probably catch a movie of her choice. Following that we'll come back and chill for a while, giving me time to put a couple of roses and a very nice card and stuffed animal in my front seat, which she will find as we are on our way to a quaint, family owned italian restaurant hidden in campustown (great place, like you might see in a mob movie). After that, we'll head back to my house and I'll put on some love songs or slow songs and we'll dance by candlelight (she loves to dance, that was our first date--dancing by candlelight). To finish it off, I'll give her a nice backrub before we head to bed.

As discussed, I shall leave the pistol behind the toilet in the 2nd stall.

:nono: MadMac. SHe could give YOU a much better lecture on the Hallmark phenomenon. But don't pull that crap. If I tried that on my gf, I would be sleeping outside for a week, on the couch for two weeks and begging for sex for a month.

He knows where it's at. I don't believe in Valentines day, if you need one crappy excuse for a holiday (I don't even get a day off, wtf is up with that?) to show your woman that you care then your relationship sucks, hard.

haha its so funny listening to all these cheesy plans. I though I was the only one that did that stuff although i would never admit to it to any of my friends. I've done the whole play a song thing on the guitar or write a poem stuff. It seems like the cheesier and lamer the better. I really hate it. It's so degrading, but I guess we gots to do it. It's a forced holiday for men everywhere.

I have to agree with Jayson, sex is the last thing on my mind during Valentine's day and its no issue whatsoever if I don't score (even though there's no doubt I could score if I wanted to :evillol: ). I haven’t even thought about Valentine’s yet but much like the previous three it will involve giving my girl flowers and a “nice” card (not a gag card) in which I’ll fill the blank side with a three-paragraph declaration about how I can’t believe the time has gone by, how happy I am we’re together, how looking forward I am to the future blah, blah, blah… Shit like that melts their hearts on contact. It’s a given we’ll have dinner together - unfortunately a few years back I outdid myself cooking for her to the point I’ve since been unable to muster the kind of energy required to duplicate such a feat, so I see us going out again this year. We’ll probably end up on my couch at the end of the night spooning and I’ll doze off while watching her “Trading Spouses” or “While you were out” shows. And if the little lady wants it I will surely oblige her (as long as I’m not still full LOL) but like I said that stuff doesn’t really matter simply because its Valentine's day.

BTW, I kinda envy those fellas out there who are single or “dating”. I miss that life someimtes, the excitement and uncertainty with meeting new women - when you’ve got to put on a big production and play your cards right in order to get laid :iceslolan . My advice to the younger or single dudes looking to score is to act like a gentleman and expect nothing – plan on beating off at the end of the night! Depending on how long you’ve known the girl get her flowers and a card – there’s nothing wrong with a single rose for someone you just met, a dozen or half-dozen is nice but be careful not to look like you’re trying too hard. Likewise, writing an entire page of thoughts inside a card would be a bit much for a new date – but write at least a nice paragraph (that’s right, three to four sentences boys!), and remember to sign and date it. This might sound so insignificant, but by doing that you make it look official and she’ll hopefully get the impression you’re going to want her to remember this day – as if it’s the start of a much bigger and longer commitment… :naughty:

The way I see it Valentine's is for them not us. And this advice I've shared is not to say you won't get laid by trying hard. BUT, if you convince her that you really weren't planning on it and were more concerned with just having a great time... :lol2: :smokin: well, as Eddie Murphy once put it, you'll feel like getting your dick bronzed after that night!

^Yeah, being single was fun and now that I'm in college one would have thought I'd enjoy a college where the ratio of women to men is 4:1 but...well, what can ya say? V-day definitely seems more for the dating couples and is more like an anniversary for couples only it's not as importan....no, to some of them i guess it is...
