Shuttering noise from front end

Several times in the last few day I've had my Intrigue exhibit a sort of shuttering/shaking behavior from the front end when starting out from a complete stop. It feels very much like a tire may be hopping due to low traction. The behavior is quite violent however. My car is equipped with the traction control option. Is the behavior typical of traction control kicking in?

Thats weird, I've been having the same exact problem, its been very cold outside, and it only does it from a complete stop to a moderate acceleration. If i let it warm up it won't do it, but if driven from the moment its started when its less than 20 degrees outside it does it, after the first acceleration it doesn't do it anymore and it runs and performs smoothly

I don't think my situation has anything to do with tempreture. It's around 50 farenheit here in Seattle. In addition my car has shuttered more than once in the same day, and usually after the car is fully warmed up.
