Looks great, nice progress. And as for the rims choice i would go with the IMPUL NS-GTII but thats just me. keep us posted

RS Watanabe's all the way! Give it a sweet negative camber (-2.0/-1.5) and with those wheels it will look hot! What color is that?! Looks soooo neat! Almost like the one on my Ferio and R32! Love the green! Those Buddy Clubs would look soooo good on a Civic HB.:)

It's a Japanese model, sold in various guises across the world. In Europe they didn't do this body type, they did the 200SX which had pop up lamps and a coupe rear end. Same car under the body though.

OOOOH, I used black primer on my R32 and Grey Primer on my Ferio. Now that i look at them my R32 looks better:( I airbrushed the color though, mixed with some retarder. Still not cleared:(

I would defenitely go with the watanabe's man! The Impuls don't fit the color/style of the car as good as the Watanabe's do. This one looks like one of those Silvia's that you would see in those street videos in Japan with them drifting. An Option2 sticker on the back bumper would look kool:)

yea that would be cool, i dont know where to get an option 2 decal though, and im broke, i might have some drift related decals some where though.

Well here is the latest progress, i cant start the interior untill i get the colors but this is what i have so far, i still have not polished the body. i really wanted to use the watanabes but they were not made for this type of suspension :mad: but o well i guess these will do, even though i didnt have any aftermarket brakes, so they are real little :banghead: ]

is it a Fujimi?

if so, i'm getting one tomorrow and would like to know if there are any problems to look out for (EG: bad fitting, mould lines, fragile parts that may break in transit)

yea its fujimi, its pretty decent, only bad things are, 1. the front bumper has to be glued on which is kind of a pain, 2. if you dont want a sun roof, the spot where you cut out the roof kinda shows through the paint some, and 3. if you plan on upgrading the brake disks its not a 2 piece brake and spring, they are molded together so it would take some work. but besides those minor things, i actually really like this kit so far, and it comes with a window masking template. hope this helps :)

thanks guys, actually another reason i loved this kit is because i didnt have to lower it, and the suspension was so easy to put together, it steers well and the wheels actually roll! lol

Nice! I would've def. modified the suspension to fit those Watanabe's. Looks cool though:)

yeah i know i wanted to mod the wheels, but the suspension fit together so good i didnt wana risk it, if i ever do another one i will use those

here are some new progress pics, the exhaust is just taped on for now, the body has been polished, the head and tail lamps put in, and the weather molding painted. no interior yet cuz i dont have any paint for it yet, but heres the pictures. oh yea, if it looks like its orange peely, its just the metal flakes messing with the digi camera, its really not like that.

any special plans for the interior, or just box stock?

ima prolly do a 2 tone interior, prolly either tan and black or tan and brown, with 1 or 2 racing seats with harnesses. and a tach, i made a custom shifter with carbon knob to go in it also, prolly a racing wheel, and thats about it

in cold, you put on a coat. In heat, you can only sit in it (worse at school, no A/C)


but anyway, to get back on topic.

ATMDC, i think the Silvia looks better without the Watanabe's, only because everyone uses Watanabe's on Jap cars.
