Pm6 ecu

hello is there anyway I could use a pm6 ecu from a 89 crx si to run a 93 b18a1 with a 90-91 Dizzy, Is there any ill effects if you can use it? Just curious I am buying a LS swap for my new hatch, and I would get everything except for the ECU and I have a spare pm6.

nope, you need to run the pr4 ecu, and you need to change the dizzy also.

Isn't the pr4 Non-OBD, I am going to use a 91 integra Dizzy

sorry but ur a little mis informed...
1. the engine doesn't matter which year it comes out of. Use ur stock harness to run any year engine. if you use the 92 engine (better) you'll just need a 90-91 teg dizzy. I'm running a 98 crv b20 (originally obd2) with my dx harness.
2. yes, you'll need a mount kit, shift linkage, 90-93 teg axles, convert to mpfi (if its a dx). You can actually run a b18 off of the PM6 ecu without any problems. The wiring is identical. You can also run it off of the PG7. The 90-91 integra PR4 will be better but the PM6 and PG7 will run a b18 without problems....the o2 sensor will compensate for the greater airflow output with the b18 and adjust the PM6 or PG7 to add more fuel.

im pretty sure it will work but the mapping wont be right for the motor, u would lose alto of power

yes it will work. i have that in my civic and i did the exactely the same thing you are doing. i had a 92 engine and i converted it to 90-91 dizzy. i put the pm6 in for a bit since it bolts up better. and i didn't really seem to find a difference. but maybe i am crazy.

Yep, i wrote that...and it's correct. You can run it with a pm6 ecu but, it would be advisable to get the PR4 because it does have slightly better fuel/ignition maps for the DOHC 1.8. it's the same theory as all the people that run B16's in their 92-95 civics with P28's.

You wont lose too much power.
I have run them both. The pr4 runs better and alittle faster but the pm6 will work as a subsitute for the time being.
