Leak Problem

It was decent weather out so I took the maro out today and earlier tonight I noticed a few dark recent drips in the concrete where it was parked. I have to leave the car outside (but covered) for winter. Anyway, the drips came from the rear of the car (94 Z28). What could leak from the rear of the car? I'm not sure but it looked to be from around the axle...? I have no idea what it could be because I don't know much about cars.

hmm, maybe the differential maybe? or the leak might be coming from the transmission, or around the tranny, and by driving, it just gets blown across the tranny and down the drive shaft or something.

it's probably the differential... if it's leaking fast enough you will be low on gear lube, this will cause the differential to lock up permenantly, espcially if you are driving at highway speeds the rear wheels will lock and you will loose control. if not the differential, then its the rear seal on the transmission. both need to be fixed relatively soon if you are going to drive it. or you need to keep filling them with fluid and make sure they don't get low.
