My Van is a 2000 with one pass side power sliding door. I went to remove the jack and lug wrench from the side compartment a few months ago and found it full of water. I reached my hand down inside the 1/4 panel and found it full of mud and water. A quick test with the hose revealed that water is leaking from where the cable for the door runs around a pulley and into the car. I am not quite sure how this was ever supposed to be sealed but i tried sealing it with some silicone and that didn’t help. Right now i have removed some of the seam sealer in the wheal well to keep it drained but this is nut really the best solution. Is this a common problem? Any one have a better idea on how to fix it?

No Clue. All I did was turn the jack bag upside down so that the water wouldn't go inside of it.
