Which mark? There's many popular ones for mk3 and mk4, and I'm sure there are at least several for mk2 also.
Check Neuspeed, Eurosport, ABD(?), Autotech(?) etc.

Try using a intake pipe for an 91 honda civic. It worked for me with some cutting. you will also need some rubber connecters to conect the air flow sensor to the pipe. Try using a reactive pipe, "there cheap". you ccan get the rubber connecter for about five dollars or so.

I have a question, I have NA MKII Golf. If I remove the entire stock airbox, will the cold air intake have any negative effect on the way it tum. There seems so be a lot going on with the stock airbox?
I would like to remove the whole thing and put a cold air iintake on, any thoughts?

if you hsve mechanical fuel injection you wont be able to do the intake with the filter. I've heard you can still switch out the intake pipe and use a filter that fits the filter box you have. use a k&n if you can come up with the 50-60 dollars that it probably will cost.
