Burnning alot of gas ???

I have a 93 Lincoln Continental it has been using alot of gas I I dont know why if there is anyone that would know why this is happening please let me know I also have a misfire problem I have tuned the car up many times my lincoln has a brand new engine in it every time I replace the plugs and wire it goes a way for about 4 months then comes back I only buy the best in wires and plugs Please help me out

I think these Lincolns were made to see how sanctified a man is.
The only thing I can think of is the 2 oxy sensors 1 in front and one
at back of eng also you said you have replace spark wires. Maybe close
to heat source . If so maybe extra insulation between wires and exhaust
This 92 hasn"t had problem like that/but had olds that I had done every
thing I knew I raised the hood on a dark night it looked like Christmas
fire running along wires This was after car ran about 1/2 hr.good luck Ringo7

thanks I was thinking the same thing about the plugs be a little close to the manifold but now that you said it makes it seem that much more possible

You also might want to check the coil pack to see if it is bad. That would explain why it keeps misfiring. I like to say that God put two things on earth that a man will never understand, a woman and a Lincoln Continental. :)

Thanks Mathew The Coil Pack Was Replaced About 1 Yr Ago I Agree 100% To What You Said....
