is it safe to spray down the engine of a 92 2.2l cav automatic at the car wash i dont want to wreck and electronics but damn that engine is hella dirty.

Yes but just go easy on anything electrical, avoid if you can. Most pressure wash coin-op car washes have an engine cleaning setting! I do mine say every other month!

always avoid the alternator, bad things can happen when inner parts of alternators get wet
