Gate window not closing

I have a '94 S15 Jimmy V6 Vortec (W) with a pop-up gate window. I don't know if that was the only style option available on that model or not.

Anyway, my window doesn't latch. Is that a common problem in this model year? What is the fix? I suppose I could just go to the bone yard and pull a replacement latch and handle. Someone help me out?

Grab a new latch kit from the dealer, it's about 13 bux. Then after you mount it on the window, pull the gate skin. You will see 2 10mm nuts on it. Loosen these a hair, close the window, if it does latch, tap the latch on the gate forward, try again, when it locks properly, tighten the 10mm nuts. Yer done.
