Hard wire iPod

Hi, new to your forum.

I am wondering if there is an easy way to hard wire an iPod to my 05 Ram 1500?

It is equiped with the 6 disc in dash stereo system. So, basically I want to hard wire a jack in to the stereo system. I have the iTrip FM transmitter but when travelling any distance, especially threw cities, it is really inconvenient.

Any ideas?
