S2000 What?

So this black S2000 pulls onto the parkway next to me. I was cruzin about 70-75 which is more than what I usually do, and he was following me. I cut inbetween a car that was closing in so he could'nt follow me.

I take the sharp 90 deg corner and get on it to where I have to turn off. But I see him come around the corner hauling ass and catching up to me. So I thought "what the hell"

He rides up next to me and give me this "hah you ain't got shit" look. So unfortunately, the next light there was only one open lane, he gets infront and I get behind him. He looks at me in his rear view mirrior and I motion for him to go when it's green.

When he took off, I had to put on the brakes 'cause I launched my car and had a little more low end pickup. After that, all the way up to about 75-80mph he didn't get but maybe a car, car-n-a 1/2 away. We stopped at the next light and he's like "not bad" and nodded a couple of times.

That was my excitement for the day other than finally adjusting my vavles, moving my battery to the hatch, fixing my exhaust leak, and putting on my new Mugen short ram.

hey, if i was messing with that s-2000 i would have been waaaaaay back, lol. i wish i had.. o maybe.. twice the power i have now... lol, but my stock si only has 67kms so im not gonna be messing with that any time soon

Thanks turt, the only thing that pissed me off is the guy that sent me my short ram put my Mugen Power decal on upside down...

That would've completely messed up the air flow, and at least a loss of 3-5 hp.

Once I was on the interstate with my girlfriend riding with me and a red s2000 zoomed up next to me and matched my speed..the driver was this middle aged/grey haired guy and he gave me that same look you described getting..lol. Let's just say I didn't feel like embarassing myself in front of my g/f so I just smiled at him and he drove off.

Did you spray on him?

No unfortunately, during the swap, my starter shorted out and arced(sp) over to my nos lines and fried them. I haven't ran the ls with spray yet.

I'm hoping to get new lines payday.

not to steal ur thread but i dont feel like making a new one, lastnight i pull up to this old school subaru at the lights, its a double left turn then another left, i didnt think he was gonna take off but he did, he hammers it and put it sideways on the second left turn and i take it without sliding, then i catch up to him, we get to another red light and he revs me, so i look at my friend in the passenger seat and tell her shes about to have her first street race lol, he revs again and i can hear the blow off valve so i give it a shot and rev back, light goes green and were neck and neck off the line, i hit 2nd and pull away, hit 3rd and I was gone, had him by about 4 cars :)
kid was prolly shitting himself that a garbage looking civic just ate him :D

Yea, I know it ain't mugen, I just wanted a red intake, and it was the only one on ebay. It's actually a full cold air, goes down to the bumper, but I just use it as short ram. $50 shipped.

it's such a shame everybody lives in different states. we have fun at our meets however, imagine the fun if like 40 of us were tearing it up on the track......

I have a small photocopy of Mobil Travel Guide Map of US right here in my work cubicle with all major hwys. What do you need to know? Although I haven't been everywhere, cartography is a bit of hobby of mine...

THat reminds me, last night i went to Merchants to see if some friends were working (my work, NTB, and merchants are the same company) and i pull into the parking lot and a few of the guys were standing around a 944 porsche so i park and walk over. Theyre sitting there revving it and all and its got a really deep rumble. Theres no hood and i walk up to see a v8 stuffed in the engine bay. This guy Alex who has an extremely nice 2nd gen RX7 turbo 2, bought the porsche and swapped an LS1 into it! Very very nice and fast as fuck. He took off outta the parking lot and just blew past. Almost all the guys who work there own 2nd gen RX7's. He doesnt work there but hes friends with all the guys who do.
