ls400 upgrade

can anyone give an opinion on the ls400 afm upgrate for a 7m-gte? how reliable is it, doe it over tax the engine? i would love to hear from someone who has tried the upgrade.

The general idea of the mod, is to use a Lexus AFM, and 550cc injectors together.. The Lexus AFM lets about 20% more un-metered air in.. So it Tricks the TCCS into thinking its getting less air than it really is, so the TCCS slows the injector pulse down.. You need the 550 injectors to add 20% more fuel to match the 20% more un-metered air..

The main benifits are a higher fuel cut, and it is less of a restriction in the intake.. It wont interfer with stock fuel system function, and it will improve mid range torque and high end performance..

I havent heard anyone say anything negative about doing the AFM upgrade..
You should also use an AFPR, and have it dyno tuned to see the best results..
