EF Speed sensor

Just wondering if anyone has done the 91 integra gauge swap. I have had it in my car for a year now and I always have the code 17 which is the VSS. The only time this code flashes is when I decelerate in any gear. It dosen't change the way my car runs. Anyone know where the VSS is located in the EF civic? I am pretty sure its in the cluster and if it is anyone know what color te wires are that lead to it?

is the 91 teg cluster an electronic vss ? anyways its near the rear mount, on the passenger side.

i got a 91 ef hatch back with tegra cluster also and mine throws code all the time too like urs my problem was that the cable was too short and it always comes out of the cluster chack and see if it is in all the way and the vss is in the back of the motor by the rear mount on passenger side.
