redline help

what is the redline on a d16y6. i have a new tach and i need to now where to set it. i would use my stock tach but it is a hf.they suck at 5ooo

7 i'm pretty sure.. or liek 7200

never heard of the y6. Do you mean A6? or Y8? D16A6 redlines at 7200rpm. Not sure about the y8 though ~7500-8000?

i think the y8 redlines the same as a6.
