Random question.
Just wondering where you guys put your t-tops when you take them out. Do you take them out of the car completely or put them somewhere? Whats the best place to put them so they don't slide around too much?

I love T-Tops in the summer too, but my last Trans Am didn't have them and I loved how solid that car was...
Unless you have sub frame connectors & more bracing, a T-Top car just flexes more, alot more...But now that spring is almost here...I would LOVE to be sporting some Sweet ride on a nice sunny day or even warm night with the T-Tops off...

i love havin the t-tops off, but theyre a pain when you are trying to run errands or something. everytime i stop to go into the mall or a store i gotta put the tops back on. gets old, but they are gorgeous for cruisin around...

Thirdgens had a leather bag in the back. I use mine once in a while but usually just end up leaving them at home.

In the back as in the trunk area/right behind the seat or in the back like behind the drivers seat? Pictures would be golden.

HAHAH i tricked u. No i found it on the net and it looked killer so i put it as my sig. I used to have my car there. My car is real plain cause i like the sleeper effect but for the reason that its plain i put this one in my sig.

posting a pic of my car would be perpetuating the stereotype of what a sig on the camaro forum should be, and i dont conform very well.

in reality, i just dont have any recent/good pics of my car on my comp right now. ill see if i can get something going after i go home for the weekend...

Yes, for the record so as to avoid flames, he's stated numerous times that it's not his car
Also think bout it... there's an SS in his sig, so why would his nick be z28...

When it came time for me to look at F-BOdy's t-tops were the first and foremost requirement. As much as I like convertibles I actually dig the T-op (or vette targa) more just for the piece of mind you've got something over your head if anything ever falls or you flip over... lol

But they become a bitch when you fill the back hatch with subs. I've found a pretty decent way to place them on the folded down backseat - there's a small dip between the very back of the folded seat and the suspension hump which the latch side of the tops fit right into. This keeps them from moving forward, problem is one of the tops always has to overlap the other a bit and thats the one that goes flying sideways when you take a quick turn (and scratches the bottom top thank you very much). I ususally lay something down between the two tops for protection and a bit of stability.

I've even left them at home a few times in sunny weather but after my last close call with a friggin monsoon they stay onboard all the time.

i love targa tops. in my opinion there's nothing cooler. i cant really stand the convertable camaros. i think they are so horribly ugly with the top down, the 4 and a half gens look like sebrings to me with the top down.

i broke one of my t tops by putting them in the bag i hit a pot hole and the nylon strap broke and they smashed together. cost me 150.00 at a junk yard for the left t top. i had no idea they were that expensive to replace.

got ya beat...

i had been drivin around all day without em. at night i went to put em on, but we were workin on my buddy's car and didnt latch em down right away. i forgot to latch em down later and was tearin through some back roads when the passenger side flew off. i was pissed needless to say...

Under my amp is one side of the holders. The t-tops slide in to the holders and you can lock them in. The t-top are one reason why I don't have my truck filled with speakers.

My parents bought a '85 (I think) Firebird, the car was about a year old when the drivers side top just blew off one day. I just remember driving around for a while with a garbage bag duct taped to the roof.
