I just bought a 1998 Blazer. After I got it home I found out that the head lights aren't working. Well actually there is only the bottom pass. side yellow light on the front that works. I know when I test drove this the other night they worked. Would anyone know if there is a fuse that controls the headlights and what number fuse it may be.

I think the fuse panel has a diagram showing what fuses go where. I dont have my manual handy but check your glove box and see if you have yours. If you do it should list the fuse locations there too I think. Have you checked the bulbs? The headlight is fairly easy to remove (instructions also in your manual) and the bulbs are CHEAP. You can even get those bright white xenon look a likes on ebay. I got all four of mine for $20 shipped.

Do you think that both headlights would go out at the same time?

I doubt it but if you have my luck you will check EVERYTHING else on the truck and when you finally check the bulbs, thats all it was. Just a suggestion. Once LT gets in here, he will set you straight on what it is. But do check the manual/fuse box cover to check the headlight fuse(s).

I went back out tonight and messed with it again for a few minutes and I just happen to hit the bright lights and guess what I had lights so I guess it is the bulbs. Thanks for the help.
Now I have one more question. How many Oxygen sensors are on there. The check engine light is on and the guy I bought it from said he put it on the computer and that is what it showed.

Take this truck to AutoZone and get the codes read, they'll do it for free. They should tell you the code numbers. Bring those numbers back to this Forum before you start spending a lot of money.
