fuel system status

hey guys, I just got a scan tool to investigate a problem I am having. I was looking at the fuel curve showing the system status, and it stays as a closed system most of the time with just a handfull of times when it goes to an open system, and that is when it is warm. so, i was curious to know if that sounds like a problem to anyone who knows what the system is supposed to do.
