97 grand am throttle position sensor

Hi. Have a 97 pontiac grand am 3.1 v6 auto. throttle position sensor has moisture where the shaft connects and where the electrical plugs in. had this problem last winter, replaced sensor and it was fine. any idea where this moisture is leaking in? is this a common problem? thanks.

Could be running down your hood and dripping there, I know where my hood meets my windshield sill. The water sometimes travels like a drip down to my intake manifold. If your concerned about it burning out again just cover it in some electrical tape. Good Luck and welcome to AF.
