car shows..

hey i just felt like making a new thread to see what people thought about some of the shows theyve been to and stuf like that theres a car show in my town every summer and i went to the sport compact nights show in halifax it was pretty good i have some a bunch of pics

No pics. (borrowed laptop) but the best show I've ever been to was MPH03. In Earl's Court In london (England) Ferrari Enzo, 2 phantoms, Lotus', TVR's 2 pagani Zondas, All manner of Astons, Evo 8 FQ340, AutoDelta Alfa Romeo 147GTA (3.2 v6, about 325 hp N/A 0-60 in 5.2 seconds) Was a live show with TVR's and Porsches doing donuts indoors, races indoors, BAR F1 pit crew Demo. Topped of with Tiff Nedell driving an old E30 BMW 3 series through a trailer! Was pretty good!

The worst show ever was Speedorama 2005 in toronto. So f'ing lame! used to be great but not anymore! Was like less then 70 cars in one hall. Would have rather took the money it cost and got change, rolled it passed homeless people into a sewer grate! Much more fun!

yeah that would be more fun but the local show here only ever has at the most 2o cars at a time maybe 30
but this past summer was the best cuz a guy rolled up in an acura nsx lol i was the only guy remotley may age that knew what it was everyone else thought it was a ferrari

I'm always afraid to go to car shows, In this town sport compacts really haven't taken hold, so it's mostly older muscle but they say they welcome any and all... I'll have to give it a shot. and pray I'm not the laughing stock of the event...

Random guy: hey kid what's that under the hood?
Me: it's a 2.4L Ecotec with an Injen C.A.I.
Random guy (laughing): nice toy.
Me: (emotionally scarred for life)
