now, will the offset work well on a 240?

offset and 14in size will make your car the Idol of the local Vatos

lol

i've always preferred the smaller wheels (14-16), guess i just like the look of bigger tires on a lowered car

i'm half mexican too so that might explain it haha

I agree but 15in Minimum

Those look like the Watanabes that look cool on an AE86.

yea i thought the same....if they were black it would be ideal for a trueno

i cannot find any pictures of them on a 240, except for a photochopped one

i think they look like butt, have you bought those or are you thinking about it?

Not too bad. I'm not a huge fan of Konig, but if you like them, get them.

I prefer 17" rims. I bet those are cheap aren't they?

i have to agree with nissanfanatic. I like 17in minimum. The most i would go is 18 in the back. But my bro just bought some 14 in. enkie meshies off an ae86. The black kind. So maybe when i see it with my own eye's i might change my opinion.

sRscooby

oh yes, they're super cheap

$325 for a set of 4 brand new
the 15's are like $550, they're supposed to be pretty rare or something
i would jump on the 15's for sure, but the $200 difference for an inch? i don't know

and no i haven't bought them yet, i'm trying to find a decent set of used enkei 92's (the meshies) :naughty:

they're not rare, they're knock offs from the watanabe wheels. 15's is definitly too small for the 240 not the mention the offset will probrably be horrible for it. remembver the S13 is not a old school looking car for those small watanbe knock offs to look good in. for S13's you need more modern looking wheels.

you need? says who?

logik23
02-01-2005, 08:34 AM
Says everyone, besides, all wheels have a huge price gap between sizes.

sRscooby

ah, easier to find pictures of 180's with watanabe''s

Yeah, the 180 looks pretty good.

Logik's right, though, there is always a big price gap when you're looking at wheel sizes.

think about how stupid that car would look without the fender flares

15s are the only way to go for the old school look. Ala Longchamp, watanabe and SSR.

7in wide with around a zero off is perfect.

I was about to get some 16x7 +0 Enkei 92s but the guy wouldnt answer his phone so I got some 17x9 +20 Stern GTR wheels.

D-Bo
02-01-2005, 03:46 PM
got any pics of them??

logik23
02-01-2005, 04:32 PM
Yeah, small wide wheels are crazy, I wanna get some 15x10....do those exist? I might be on to something..anyways, the 180 looks sick, I admit it, but D-Bo is right, it would look stupid without the flares.

sRscooby
02-01-2005, 04:39 PM
oh ya, i agree, without the flares it'd be pewp

but *if* i were to get those wheels, knock offs or not, i would defientley get the flares too

D-Bo
02-01-2005, 04:41 PM
one goes with the other.. i'm lookin for 16X8 ish.. they're gonna be hard to find in my price range but whatever.. for now i'm gonna throw 205R/195F-55-R15 toyo proxes FZ4's on my stockies.. i might even paint them gunmetal.. i think that looks awesome

sRscooby
02-01-2005, 09:52 PM
