Stalling Again

So here goes again. After we think we have it fixed something new happens. First I replaced the ECM and the faulty coil then the car started stalling...Found out the wire from the Crank position censor was bad fixed that.. The car ran good for 3 months. Then the fuel pump went ... Easy fix ..... 2 months later the car starts stalling again and it seems to only do it after you drive a while It usually starts right up but sometimes needs 5 or 10 minutes to fire. Took it back to the mechanic he was baffled ... says he drove it all day without a stall and nothing showed on his tests..... I pick up my car when the shop closes and didnt even make it home it stalled .... 5 min later it started .... drove 5 blocks and it stalled again this time it would not start and the battery died trying once I got a boost it started and ran fine. I called mechanic he says on a guess ( he has no idea ) he is going to replace the Crank Position Sensor cause its the only thing he thinks it can be.
PLS help are these expensive and IS this the problem.... I am gonna throw away this car soon if it doesnt stay fixed!

I don't really know anything about the crank position sensor...
Have your mechanic look at the MAF Mass AirFlow Sensor to see if its dirty/broke; I know when My old GA stalled randomly, when I got a new MAF, my lost initial power came back and the stalling went away... Just a thought... It is however a $200 part so it isn't one of those change it to see if it helps things.... hope that helps some

That CPS isn't expensive, and just might be the problem.

So we replaced the CPS didnt solve the problem mechanic figures its the Fuel relay module replaced it still stalling so now he took it home for the night to see what else it could be ..... Brand new alternator 2 months old all that checks out.... Thinking maybe a faulty ECM is that a possibility but wouldnt I see other issues as well?
I am going to kill the car or myself soon. My wife wont even get in it.

Might wanna bite the bullet and go to a dealer with this one. Could be cheaper in the long run.

Called both dealers in my small town and was told it may be 2 weeks before they can get me in. One head mechanic said he has no idea what it could be if we have done what we have so far. He said maybe its a faulty Control Module so tomorrow we swap it out. Glad it was still warranteed. Any other ideas on what it could be. Two weeks is a while to wait and if I can fix it in the mean time I will.
Heard someone say TCC solenoid could it be?

TCC won't cause it not to start. It will make it die, and make it undriveable for a time. It will start, but won't let you drive. I don't think that's your problem. Remember, the ECM can't be returned once installed. Just a warning. You can tap on the MAF sensor, if there is any change in engine idle, or it dies, the MAF is bad. (that's the block in the intake duct coming off the air filter box) Give it a couple of good knocks, and see what happens. Careful not to break it, it's plastic.

You check on the wiring repair to the CPS? Always check any recent repairs before ruling that out as a cause, or you can drive yourself nuts.

I will test both today and get back to you soon. The ECM is covered under a lifetime warranty so its an easy call to swap it.
