interior lights?

ok when i first got the eclipse the inteior light would go on when the drivers door was open. but now it doesnt it only goes on when the hatch is open..... i went through my haynes repair manual.... and found nothing........ ne suggestions?

its your door pin dood! .. happened to me too.. do u have an alarm? if you do the best way to check it forsho is try turnning on ur alarm with he doors open.. if ur alarm goes on then its ur door pin.. if it dont then its prolly something else like ur wiering from the doorpin to the fusebox

you can also try pushing the door pin & see if the lights go on & off.. look at your doorjam & look for a lil rubber button ..push it, move it around.. whatever..

you can buy a replacement doorpin at mitsubishi or chrisler for about 10-20 dollar.. hope that helps dood!
