engine swap 350 chev into 450 sl MB

anyone out there saw a 350 chevy in a 450 sl mercedes. if so how did they do it

I'm getting ready to do this swap. I am going to build a Mustang II style front suspension to replace the w107 sub frame. This will get the stock steering gear out of the way and replace it with rack and pinion. This will be offered in kit form. I will also be offering a standard transmission conversion. It will use a Wilwood tripple master cylinder set for the brake and clutch. The up side is a balance bar for the front and rear brakes. The down side is the loss of the power brake booster. I will be building a bolt in four link rear suspension to install a 9" Ford rearend. The reason for this change is to get a choice of gear choices and it will handle the 600 rear wheel horse power.
