WRX Up/Down pipe exhaust question...

For my 2004 Rex first performance upgrade, should i buy a full turbo-back exhaust with the uppipe and just buy a downpipe after or should i go with a cat back and buy both the up and down pipe seperately? Also, how hard is it to install a down/up pipe on a WRX? Never have before..does the full installation including the exhaust get rid of the cat converters?

i suggest getting a turbo back instead of getting it all seperatly

i just got my wrx a few weeks ago and im getting ready to purchase a turbo back exhaust and ecu upgrade chip from cobb tunning, they are really well known you should check them out

so ya i suggest getting the TBE and just getting the up-pipe separate, im sure it comes with a good installation guide and if u have any experience with cars then it should just take a lot of time and patience

i agree turbo back, plus all those systems for the wrx's are straight bolt on the hardest part will be getting some of the old bolts off the exhaust...sometimes they tend to be a real pain in the ass..

Get the turbo-back if you can afford it. If not, get the downpipe and save up for a cat-back later. Or vice-versa if you want it to sound better first.
