what all of a fuel system do i need to run 6-7 intercooled psi on stock 240, with BD intercooler, T3 turbo, BD exhaust mani & DP,
i was thining safc II, how hard are these to use? what does the 12 point definable fuel correction mean? i should be able to run all of this on stock injectors shouldnt I? do i need to advance timing any for this setup, thanks once again.

you might want to get a fuel pump. If you want to go all out and get a complete fuel system go to phatka-t.com. Im sure you've already seen it though.

is the air fuel pressure regulator good to have on a ka-t at 7 psi with the setup tim posted but without an intercooler?

FMU would be okay for a while. I am using one now on my 6psi side-mount setup.

A S-AFC is used to control bigger injectors, so this is not useful on stockers unless you are trying to take some fuel out, which is the opposite of what you are trying to do. 370ccs would be a good choice. If you want to be able to tune anytime, you are going to need a wideband. I am gonna get one because I like to know if something goes wrong. You can get it tuned at a dyno and forget the wideband though. Its pretty easy to use from what I hear. 12 point means you can adjust the injectors in 12 different points througout the entire RPM range. And definately get a fuel pump. Cheap, reliable, and definately makes the car safer. Its even a good mod for stock 240s.

Advancing timing is the opposite of what you want to do. This ignites the charge earlier. You are going to need to retard timing. General rule of thumb is .5degrees of retard for every 1psi of boost.

7psi=3.5degrees of base retard. www.ka-t.org has a tech section that tells you how do retard base timing correctly.

I wouldn't recommend 7psi unintercooled but it has been done. I won't even run 7psi on my sidemount setup. 7psi is usually the highest you can run safely without an intercooler, but I don't like to test my luck.

So you can tune an S-AFC yourself? How do you know how much fuel to dump in? Is it a blank page that you put in the numbers, or are the stock numbers alrady in and you just change them?

good question, iv wondered about that myself. I would think it would read the stock numbers though.

Well you use the wideband to know what Air/fuel to run. And yes it reads stock fuel maps. You just tell it how much bigger the new injectors are. Then you program how much more fuel to dump at the 12 rpm points.

i seeeeee.. i meant retard i dont know why i said advance (maybe its because im retarded myself) , so ur saying all i need is a fuel pump? or fuel pump and fmu, what is another option besides the fmu, and what fmu ratio would i be looking at, 12:1?
