Please help!! does anyone know where the fuse for the fuel pump is on my 93 s10 blazer 4.3 vortec? I have already changed the relay and the pump is not running when the key is turned on.Is there a fuse at all? Also the pump was just replaced last march, could it have failed so soon?Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Could have popped early if it was defective.

I would take it back to where you had the work done, it should be under warranty.

Check the fuse panel for a fuel pump fuse, it may be there but I doubt it.

The pump should still be under warranty.

There should be a grey wire in the engine compartment to prime the pump.

Is your fuel pump aftermarket (lifetime warranty) or OEM-AC Delco (1 yr warranty)? If aftermarket, yes it can go bad so soon. The part might be warrantied but they don't pay for labor! I did my fuel pump on my truck 3 weeks ago, I bought aftermarket as well but have been kicking myself in the #&& since then. Plan On taking it back and getting the OEM (with only 1 yr warranty) for $30 more. Why? Because AC Delco designed that pump for that vehicle and there is a pat. on it so any aftermarket parts cannot ever be as good as the original, otherwise the aftermarket co.'s would get sued by GM

Either way, he pump should be under warranty.
